The automotive world has something new to watch out for from Bentley. Just recently, the British automaker has tied up with Bang & Olufsen through the integration of the Danish brand's innovative BeoSonic interface into the new Continental GT. This revolutionary interface is specially designed to shape the sound in the car with an intuitive one-touch user interface which enables the driver to create a tailored, bespoke in-car audio experience. Customers can expect four unique audio spaces from the Bang & Olufsen One-Touch Experience such as: Relaxed, Warm, Energectic and Bright. The soundtuning of the spaces is fine-tuned to the driver's preferences via a simple-to-use, haptic touchscreen interface that is integrated into the multimedia system. BeoSonic comes in an eclipse design, and by moving a digital white marker the driver can take a pick between the four spaces. This allows them to fine-tune the music as per their current mood, with color palette behind the eclipse reflecting the selected sound mode. With a pinching gesture, the driver can also fine-tune surround intensity in the BeoSonic display. There are also additional settings designed to optimize the entire system for front or rear seat passengers. The new sound system has been developed in close partnership between the automaker's and HARMAN International's design and audio engineering teams. The innovative system comes with 16 active loudspeakers and a powerful 1,500-watt BeoCore DSP amplifier which ensures high-quality sound. Another remarkable feature is the iconic design of the aluminum finished speaker grilles with holes drilled in varied sizes and angles and shaped to a stunningly designed Fibonacci hole pattern. In order to attain the best acoustic transparency and to create a contrast to the glass-pearl blasted surface, the angled holes are positioned as tightly as possible. Moreover, the LED illumination of the holes welcome the driver when the system is activated. The Bang & Olufsen logo, which is debossed into the leather next to the grilles, adds a touch of luxury to the speaker's design. Apart from BeoSonic, the new Bentley Continental GT also boasts laminated acoustic glass windscreen and side windows which reduce exterior noise ingress to provide optimal audio experience in the cabin environment.
