New Land Rover Discovery Makes Its Regional Debut in Dubai's Kite Beach

The all-new Land Rover Discovery proved to be an attention-grabber when it recently made its Middle East premiere at Kite Beach in Dubai. The latest addition to the Land Rover Discovery family of vehicles redefined true adventure and discovery with a bold stunt drive through a challenging obstacle course to the backdrop of crashing waves in Jumeirah.

Showcasing the fusion of British craftsmanship with an unquenchable spirit of adventure, the fifth-generation model gives perfect justice to Land Rover's promise to go above and beyond. It considerably benefits from Land Rover's solid, safe and full-size SUV architecture, delivering adaptability and comfort like no other.

The new Discovery is powered by Jaguar Land Rover's range of supercharged and turbo engines as well as paired with a smooth and responsive ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox. Featuring innovative technology to keep occupants safe, connected, and confident on all terrains and in any weather conditions, the new Discovery, in accordance with Land Rover's Chief Design Officer Gerry McGovern, revolutionized the car's DNA to create a highly desirable, extremely versatile and hugely capable premium SUV.

Spectators at Kite Beach got a chance to witness the new Discovery for themselves and see its dynamic appearance and sophisticated engineering in action.

Visitors to the venue lined up to explore the versatile SUV and participate in passenger experiences showcasing its all-terrain capability on Land Rover's Urban Jungle Course, which consisted of The Hill, The Axel Twister Side Slope and Traction Tracks.

The experiences were live-streamed from the @LandRoverMENA Twitter account, making it the first brand in the Middle East to deploy live 360 video on Twitter.
