Sweptail is the Costliest Rolls-Royce Ever Sold

Over the years, the automotive world has witnessed its fair share of expensive luxury supercars, from the Bugatti Chiron Sport ($3.26 million) to the Lamborghini Veneno ($4.5 million). However, in accordance with automotive news site, The Drive, no new car is said to match the staggering price of the Rolls-Royce Sweptail, a one-off coupe that reportedly costs $13 million. The Telegraph reports that this handcrafted masterpiece was created by the Rolls-Royce Bespoke department and was launched last year after four years of development. With a posh panoramic glass roof and a design inspired by the 1920s and 1930s Rolls-Royce motor cars, the Sweptail is truly distinctive making it one of the rarest automobiles in the world. Describing the Sweptail as a truly magnificent car, Torsten Müller-Otvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, revealed in a statement that they were listening carefully to their most special customers and evaluating their interest in investing in similar, entirely exclusive coachbuilt masterpieces.
