The famous British automaker, McLaren has confirmed that they are developing a new limited two seat open cockpit roadster as its next Ultimate Series model, which is said to debut in 2020 with a limited production of 399 cars.
The new yet to be named model will be offering ‘road focused driving experience’ with its open cockpit design. While the automaker has not given any technical details yet, the new model will use the automaker’s traditional carbon fiber chassis and a version of its long running 4.0L V8 twin turbocharged engine.The design is set to make this a light weight model and is tipped to weigh less than the 1198kg Senna.

Now this new addition to the Ultimate Series, an open-cockpit roadster, will take road-focused driving pleasure to new levels.”
