JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a knowledgeable Accounting Manager who can lead and motivate accounting staff members and increase department accuracy and efficiency. The Accounting Manager will delegate, supervise, and participate in accounting department tasks, oversee the recording, tracking, and reporting of financial information, hire, train, and motivate accounting staff members, develop and implement department controls and procedures, and ensure that the department operates efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

1. Manage and oversee the daily transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, inventory, and bank reconciliations.
2. Monitor and ensure the transactions with suppliers are as per the set terms & conditions and the related documentations.
3. Supervise and support Operational Accountants on submission of relevant documents to Banks, Suppliers, etc.
4. Monitor the accuracy of the daily sales summary report.
5. Oversee invoicing and customer collections of the accounting team are as per set guidelines.
6. Ensure to send the summary of Monthly Sales Report with Gross Profit Margin and its analysis.
7. Monitor/check cost allocation for each item and their accuracy.
8. Monitor the flow of petty cash funds and timely liquidations thereof.
9. Monitor daily cash inflows and outflows.
10. Check the bank reconciliation daily.
11. Monitor the accounts of suppliers & customers and ensure its timely reconciliation.
12. Monitor and verify approved quotations.
13. Provide guidance to the accounting team and ensure to follow up on their tasks.
14. Monitor and evaluate the daily work performance of the team members to assure the accomplishment of the department goal.
15. Responsible for planning, organizing and implementing the function of the department
16. Reconcile and monitor the inventory in the systems/software to ensure accuracy and make sure to report periodically to related authorities
17. Prepare projected cash flow for the month and succeeding months.
18. Monitor, track and report the achievements of Sales, Coordinate Export Sales and ensure to facilitate filing of Export documents.
19. Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
20. Monitor the calculation & the compliance of approved commission structure for the Sales team.
21. Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
22. Any other duties as assigned by the management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to direct and supervise
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.
• High level of efficiency and accuracy.
