Dubai Police's already luxurious patrol fleet has recently become more luxurious with the addition of several new cars.
According to The National, Mercedes-AMG, Rolls-Royce Wraith, Audi R8, McLaren 720S, and Nissan Patrol showcase Dubai Police's fresh corporate identity on its livery which was approved earlier by High Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President of UAE and Ruler of Dubai. These supercars patrols feature the latest technologies such as advanced cameras and computers that are directly connected to the control center.
In a statement, Major General Mohammed Al Marri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of community happiness affairs and equipment at Dubai Police, commented that the force used the recently concluded Dubai Motor Show to launch to the public its new brand message—Smart, Secure, Together.
“The luxurious patrol cars will be available in the areas which are frequently visited by tourists such as Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, JBR, Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah.”
The new livery scheme was conceptualized in accordance to Dubai Police Strategic Plan 2016-2021, Dubai Government Plan 2021, and inspired by the UAE's 2071 Vision.
At the event, Dubai Police also unveiled their eco-friendly vehicles, including the BMW i3 electric patrol.
